On February 20, 2025, the closing ceremony of the Pak-Türkiye Joint Exercise Ataturk-XIII in the counterterrorism domain was held at Cherat, Pakistan, marking the conclusion of the joint training between the armies of Pakistan and the Republic of Türkiye.
The two-week-long exercise commenced on February 10, 2025. Two combat teams from the Special Services Group (SSG) of the Pakistan Army and 36 personnel from the Special Forces of the Republic of Türkiye participated in the exercise.
Commander 11 Corps attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest, while Brigadier General Ahmet Asik from the Republic of Türkiye also witnessed the event. The troops demonstrated the highest standards of professional excellence throughout the exercise.
The exercise aimed to enhance professional skills through joint training while further strengthening the historic military-to-military relations between the two friendly nations. Participating troops benefited immensely from the collaborative training.
