Blood of the Brave

February 2025

The blood of the brave will always speak
Of the cause for which it’s spilled,
To the souls of truth who truly seek
And hearts with empathy filled...

It will not speak to the deaf and blind,
But let them have their say...
For the hearts brutal and confined,
There is a Judgement Day.

That blood will mark the history,
And stain its pages red!
You will read of a glorious victory,
When all is done and said...

Oh enemy, fear and dread
This blood that runs too deep...
For freedom’s call, they fight and bleed,
Their legacy time will keep...

Kashmir -- The Jugular Vein

Quaid’s physician Dr. Riaz Ali Shah’s diary, Quaid-i-Azam during his illness in Ziarat said:
“Kashmir is the Jugular vein of Pakistan and no nation or country would tolerate its Jugular vein remains under the sword of the enemy.”

(Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, September, 1948)
…..

On the significance of Kashmir, while talking with Mountbatten on May 17, 1947, the Quaid said:
“The derivation of the word Pakistan -- P for Punjab; A for Afghan (i.e. Pathans of NWFP); K for Kashmir; I for nothing because that letter was not in the word in Urdu; S for Sindh and Tan for the last syllable of Baluchistan”.

(Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, May 17, 1947)

Some Facts about Honey

-    Honey never spoils. It can last literally thousands of years.
-    Honey has a very low water content, typically less than 18%. This makes it difficult for bacteria and other microorganisms to grow, as they require a certain amount of water to survive.
-    Honey is high in sugar, which also inhibits the growth of microorganisms.
-    The high sugar content creates an environment that is too concentrated for most bacteria and other microorganisms to survive. Honey is naturally acidic, with a pH range of 3.2 to 4.5.
-    This acidity also helps to inhibit the growth of microorganisms. Bees add enzymes to honey as they process it, which help to break down the sugars and create hydrogen peroxide. This hydrogen peroxide also acts as a natural preservative, inhibiting the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.
-    It is important to note that honey can eventually spoil if it is exposed to moisture or other contaminants, so it is important to store it properly in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.
