A special ceremony was organized at Al-Noor Special Children’s School and College Multan to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Commander Southern Command and 2 Corps, Lieutenant General Ahsan Gulrez, HI (M), as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was attended by military officials, civil administration, philanthropists, and parents of the special children. On this occasion, the students of Al-Noor Special Children’s School and College presented a variety of captivating tableaus, which were highly praised by the attendees. Addressing the gathering, the Corps Commander expressed his heartfelt sentiments, emphasizing that these children hold a special place in our hearts. He stressed the collective responsibility of nurturing, educating, and empowering them to lead independent lives, with parents playing a pivotal role in this mission.
The Commander also reviewed various handicrafts and projects created by the special children and lauded the relentless efforts of the school’s teachers and staff in providing quality education, training, and vocational skills to the students. Towards the conclusion of the event, awards were distributed to students who demonstrated exceptional performance in the board examinations of Al-Noor Special Children’s School and College.
