On November 29, 2024, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), visited the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), Pabbi, and interacted with participants of the Pak-China Joint Exercise Warrior-VIII, conducted between the Pakistan Army and the People’s Liberation Army of China.
COAS was briefed on the scope and conduct of the exercise. He also interacted with the participants and appreciated their professionalism and high morale displayed during the joint exercise.
The Pak-China Joint Exercise Warrior-VIII, which commenced on November 19, 2024, is a three-week-long counterterrorism exercise. It marks the eighth iteration of this annual bilateral engagement.
Earlier, upon his arrival at NCTC Pabbi, COAS was received by the Commander Rawalpindi Corps.
