Students and faculty members of different educational institutions of Khanewal District visited Okara Garrison and spent the entire day with Pakistan Army.

They visited Shuhada Monument, laid floral wreath and offered prayers for Shuhada of the country. A detailed briefing was given to the students to enlighten them on the routine functioning of Pakistan Army, and its capability. The participants were also introduced to military weapons and communication equipment through various stalls and also had the opportunity to experience and ride Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs). The students paid rich tribute to Pakistan Army for their sacrifices in the war on terrorism and acknowledged their professional commitment and discipline.
