On August 9, 2024, His Excellency (H.E.), Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair, Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi (PBUH), called on Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M) at General Headquarters (GHQ).

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed. COAS welcomed the dignitary and highlighted that the visit by H.E. Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi to Pakistan is a matter of honor for the people of Pakistan.
H.E. Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi said that Pakistan has a significant place in the Muslim world and is playing a vital role in promoting peace and stability in the region. Both sides expressed satisfaction over Pakistan-Saudi relations.
In the end, H.E. Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi prayed for the Muslim Ummah's peace, stability and unity.
