On August 10, 2024, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, who was on an official visit to the United Kingdom (UK), called on the Chief of Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, and the Chief of the General Staff of the United Kingdom (UK), General Sir Roland Walker.
During the separately held meetings, both sides deliberated on areas of mutual interest, bilateral defense and security cooperation, counterterrorism, and the prevailing regional environment.
The British military leadership lauded the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
