Every year, on 14^th of August, the people of Pakistan celebrate their Independence Day with great pride and added fervor. It is a day when the entire nation comes together, remembers the sacrifices made by our forefathers, and honors the birth of our beloved homeland, Pakistan in the most befitting manner.

The Journey to Independence
Pakistan’s journey to independence was a historic one. Before 1947, Pakistan was a part of British India. The people of the region, especially Muslims, felt the need for a separate homeland where they could live freely and practice the teachings of Islam without any interference. Led by the visionary leader, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, our forefathers worked hard, struggled tirelessly and made Allama Iqbal’s dream of independent homeland a reality.
