Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Naveed Ashraf, during his official visit to China visited People’s Liberation Army (PLA) (Navy) Headquarters and called on Commander of Chinese Navy Admiral Hu Zhongming.

Upon arrival at Chinese Navy Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Chinese Navy presented guard of honor to CNS Admiral Naveed Ashraf. During the meeting with Commander of Chinese Navy Admiral Hu Zhongming, matters of bilateral naval collaboration and regional maritime security were discussed. The Naval Chief underscored the contribution of Pakistan Navy (PN) towards regional maritime peace and stability through its initiative of Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP). 
The Commander of PLA Navy appreciated PN’s role in support of collaborative maritime security in the region and acknowledged the significance of strong bilateral defense cooperation.
