Recently I read a novel that in fact relates to the epic struggle of our defenders, the soldiers and heroes, the martyrs and ghazis. The author has dedicated this novel to brave heroes of Pakistan Armed Forces who have been awarded Nishan-i-Haider. 
This book, “Akhri Waar” by Zulfikar Ali Bukhari, elevates and eulogizes those who are defending the motherland while being part of Pakistan Armed Forces where soldiers and officers are always ready to display their chivalry and valour and never hesitate in to giving their lives as and when it is needed. Their professionalism and patriotism, their commitment to the cause and resilience in the face of challenges is exemplary and maximum. 
After reading this novel, one comes to know that on one hand there are the sons of soil who are ever ready to sacrifice their lives for the defence of motherland, but on the other hand there are some elements who play in the hands of enemies and play with the sentiments of innocent people.
To me, it is a must read novel that also suggests as to how to fight out the enemies of Pakistan. Our beloved homeland is our identity. Wherever we go, our identity remains with us. We are called Pakistanis. We are grateful; Allah has blessed us with such a beautiful and beloved country Pakistan. We love our homeland. We can go to any extent for protecting our people and defending our frontiers.
