Queen’s Magic

November 2023

Long ago, there lived a lion-hearted queen. Queen Mia, had long and luscious blond hair, pink cheeks and a warm smile on her face along with a golden gem-like crown. She ruled a jolly kingdom, filled with normal, and magical people. Both kinds lived in peace and harmony together… but little did they know that, this “peace and harmony”, wouldn’t stay for long.
One day, the kingdom had an unexpected, and unknown guest who looked elderly, had grey hair, long beard, with wrinkles and a crooked nose. He was in a white carriage, with hints of gold splatters all over it. The elderly fellow was heading straight towards the enormous and lovely castle, which was surrounded by trees and protected, with a strong enchantment spell, as a thank you from the magical people for accepting them, for who they are. The elderly fellow, got out of his carriage when he reached the gate of the castle and demanded, “I want to see the queen this instant.”
To the guards. “We’ll have to check you first, in case you are planning to harm our queen”, replied a guard. “Nonsense!” shouted the elderly fellow as he took out a wand and knocked the guards out. Then, he claimed the gate-key and went inside, as if nothing had even happened. Well, no one even suspected him because… well… he was quite invisible! The fellow snuck up in the huge castle towers, into the throne room, and walked up to the beautiful queen. He revealed himself and said, “My queen, I am truly very sorry to barge in like this but, I have a message for you.” He handed the queen a scroll, and then backed up.
“Well, I am not quite amused with the entrance you have made but, I’ll read this scroll. She read the scroll as it said, “Queen Mia! This is the Queen of the Magicals writing to you, informing you about a great trouble, which will occur in your kingdom, Normical. I unfortunately, am restricted to tell you everything but, I can tell you that, the normals will start this. Please, stay safe!”
Queen Mia was shocked. She asked the elderly gentlemen to kindly leave and then she started panicking. “Stay calm… stay calm Mia… Nothing will happen as long as you, I keep the peace.” She said in her head, to calm herself down.
The next day, Queen Mia was woken up by a huge noise, and crowd reciting, “Kill the Magicals! Slay them all! Kill all the Magicals. Slay them all!” The queen quickly changed and headed outdoors. Out there, she was surprised by a group of normal people, protesting against the magical people. The queen told everyone, “Silence! No one, and I mean, no one, is to be killing each other or protesting against some other kind. Am I clear?”
But little did she know, that the king, who was away for a week, had come back and was slaying magical people, including kids! Luckily, someone told the queen about this and boy, she was madder, and angrier than a raging bull! The king was, Queen Mia’s brother as, they were twins, and born at the exact same time. “Brother! Leave them alone this instant or else…” The queen screamed, and was replied by a cruel, selfish man, called the king,” Or else what sister? You cannot stop me. This is for our people, our kingdom, and a safe future!” The queen stopped him and tried to distract him but… they were all practically dead.
“You will regret this… you will beg for mercy… as I am the only… powerful… powerful… one over here… I allow myself to transform!” Queen Mia said as she transformed into a powerful-looking magical. The truth is that, the parents of Mia were, well… different. The father was normal but, the mom was not. She was magical. She and the father created Normical so that, everyone could live in peace. And Mia… was like her mom… while her brother was normal but, they hid Queen Mia’s identity for her safety. But now, it was revealed.
She fought and fought, using magic till only her brother was alive. And the normal citizens had run away. “Why would you do this?” Queen Mia cried. “How could you hide this from me?! And anyways they were weirdos… just like you are now!” the evil king said. The queen replied, “I’m sorry to hide this from you… I had to. And I am sorry for what I will do…” She said as she knocked her brother out and revived all the dead magical people. She could do this as she was the strongest and most intelligent magical, as well as a queen.
Since she had amazing powers, and was the strongest, she brainwashed everyone and made them forget everything about war between normals and magicals. But this time, she revealed that she was a magical as well. This was the better choice and everyone lived happily in the Amazing Kingdom of Normical!
