Cornell University’s Students Meet COAS During their Visit to Pakistan

A group of students from Cornell University, a United States’ Ivy League institute, met COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa during their visit to Pakistan. The students shared experiences of their visit to the country which included the tour of Lahore, Hunza Valley, Islamabad and the Parliament. COAS shared his thoughts on Pakistan and its journey to enduring peace, stressing upon the youth’s significant role in every field as the future leaders. Referring to vibrant youth of Pakistan, COAS credited successes in the war against terror to the bravery and motivation of the junior leadership besides their contributions to the nation’s progress on the whole as a part of the national effort. The visiting students thanked COAS, stating that they are taking back home first-hand reality of the peaceful and beautiful Pakistan.
