Commander Turkish Air Force Calls on CAS

Views Exchanged on Areas of Mutual Cooperation and Regional Security

Commander Turkish Air Force, General Hasan Küçükakyüz visited Air Headquarters, Islamabad to call on Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Pakistan Armed Forces, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan. 


Upon his arrival, the distinguished guest was received by the CAS. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) presented the dignitary with the guard of honour. The visiting guest paid homage to the martyrs of PAF by laying floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument. 
Various matters pertaining to regional security and areas of mutual cooperation came under discussion during the meeting between the two air chiefs.
While lauding the professionalism of PAF personnel, Commander Turkish Air Force praised the exceptional progress made by PAF over the years, especially in the field of indigenisation. Commenting on the ties between the two countries, the CAS stated, “Everlasting ties exist between the two brotherly nations. Turkey has always stood by Pakistan in times of need.” The dignitaries pledged to further cement the cordial relations between the two air forces.
