ELANG STRIKE-2019: Pakistan-Indonesia Joint Exercise

Pak-Indonesia joint exercise “ELANG STRIKE-2019” was held from March 26 to April 3, 2019 at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi. 
The exercise was held at different training facilities with the initial six days focused on individual and collective training in mountain warfare, advance firing and close quarters battle in the counter-terrorism domain, while the last three days comprised a full-scale joint exercise.
The closing ceremony was held at NCTC, Pabbi and was attended by Defense Attaché of Indonesia, Colonel Dody Mukhtar Toufeq. Commander Mangla Corps Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj, HI(M) attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
Defence Attaché of Indonesia, Colonel Dody Mukhtar Toufeq and the chief guest Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj addressed the participants of both countries and appreciated the hard work and morale of participating troops. After the address, national anthems of both countries were played and flags were lowered. At the end of the ceremony, souvenirs were exchanged among the dignitaries of both countries.
