With a view to witness operational readiness of the troops amid escalation, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi visited naval installations in Coastal and Creek Areas, units in Karachi and combat units deployed at sea.
CNS was given detailed overview and briefings on the ongoing operational deployment of troops and units in various areas of responsibility (AORs). During the visits, the CNS also interacted with the troops and expressed his satisfaction with the professional excellence and preparedness in ensuring impregnable defence of the country. He reiterated Pakistan Navy’s full capacity to thwart and foil any nefarious designs or misadventure carried out against the country. The CNS further stated, “Despite the numerical superiority of our adversary, we are fully vigilant to ensure the country’s seaward defence and safeguard maritime interests of the nation at all costs. Our faith, courage and passion to safeguard the Motherland are added strengths to our readiness and professionalism.”
CNS also inspected Naval Air Station at Turbat and the forward posts at Creek areas along the eastern border.
