Bajaur Premier Cricket League Kicks Off, Fostering Youth Development and Sportsmanship

The Bajaur Premier Cricket League stands as a testament to the collaboration between the district administration and Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) North. Distinguished guests, including senior officials from FC KP North and the district administration, graced the opening ceremony. The event also saw participation from political elders of Bajaur, local leaders, lawyers, doctors, youth representatives, athletes, and guests from diverse backgrounds. Over the next 45 days, the Bajaur Premier League will unfold, featuring 36 teams representing the area. A total of 103 matches are scheduled throughout the tournament. The league's core objective is to provide the youth of tribal areas with a platform for healthy and constructive engagement in sports. The young, promising players expressed their gratitude to the district administration and FC KP North for orchestrating this remarkable sporting event. They believe the Premier League will unearth hidden talents in the area, potentially positioning Bajaur and Pakistan on the international sports map in the years to come.
